History



 

Rev. Jonathan Webster was called to pastor Snowville Christian Church in 2003. Jonathan is the full-time board certified Chaplain at the Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. His wife Donna, is the Executive Director of Literacy Volunteers of the New River Valley. His son, Ben is an Eagle Scout and attends Dalton Middle School in Radford.

Jonathan has an undergraduate degree from James Madison University in Philosophy and Religion. He received his masters of Divinity from the Baptist Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky where he specialized in pastoral care and counseling. He is working on his doctorate at Lexington Theological Seminary.

He writes a regular column for the New River Voice on matters of spirituality, and is a frequent speaker to local universities on topics of medical ethics, spirituality and grief.
